Over time, the pressure of the spheres falls. The progressive deterioration of a sphere makes the suspension increasingly rigid.. It is advisable to change a sphere every 4 to 5 years and/or every 60,000 km to 100,000 km, depending on the load and mileage of the vehicle.On the Citroen C5 and C6, the service life is 10 years or 200,000 km, thanks to the use of the new "saucer" sphere.
